Evolution or revolution - time for MSPs to decide?
Jason Kemsley, Chief Revenue Officer and Co-Founder, Uptime, discusses the recent UptimeLIVE event, which delivered practical recommendations to help MSPs break through existing growth barriers, moving beyond technical expertise to explore the foundational skills and business acumen needed to excel in today’s market. Jason explains the Emerging MSP model: a new type of Managed Service Provider that outsources operations to accelerate growth and scalability, focuses on the future for IT helpdesks and has some words of wisdom to offer when it comes to AI.

SMB MSPs - specialisation sales and marketing strategies to help grow the business
Alkesh Soneji, Director - Sales & Marketing, Infrassist, discusses the problems facing SMB MSPs as they are often too busy ‘keeping the lights on’ to be able to devote enough time an effort into growing their businesses. Alkesh offers some excellent advice as to the ways in which these MSPs can overcome this challenge, with industry and/or technology specialisation seen as a great strategy to win new customers relatively easily. He also emphasises the importance of working with digital marketing experts to provide their specialist knowledge along this growth journey.

Carl Berry, Channel Director NW EMEA, at cloud and app security company, F5, to discuss why partner strategies need to evolve in the face of the increasingly competitive market. Carl also comments on where he believes the opportunities lie for the channel ecosystem to diversify and stand out from competitors, with being channel-first, staying laser focused and understanding and addressing customer pain points put forward as key objectives – and shares a couple of partner examples, explaining how F5 is working with both Computacenter and Bluefort Security.

Ben Rogers, Sales Manager, CloudBilling, explains the ways in which the company helps MSPs to overcome multiple billing challenges by providing automation, standardisation and reducing complexity.
